it can be ok. I am not at all against it and I have been to the track a few times and raced both auto's and manuals. I guess the manuals are a little more fun to drag, though I would rather shift while going around a road course or on the street. I did have an N/A coupe 5 speed but resold it for profit. Dragging just doesn't appeal to me as much as auto cross. I suppose if I had a 10 second car it would actually be more enjoyable, but my car is in the 16's as stands anyway. I just love how it handles. If I want to have some fun, I hit the twisties :) (why does the word twisties sound so homo?)
